1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RevivePics ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RevivePics is an AI-powered photo restoration service that enhances and colorizes old or damaged photographs. The Service uses artificial intelligence to process images uploaded by users.

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You may not share your account credentials with others.

4. Credits and Payments

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system.
  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Credits do not expire.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time.

5. Prohibited Content (IMPORTANT)

You may NOT upload or process images containing:

  • Illegal content: Child exploitation material, terrorism-related content, or any content violating applicable laws.
  • Explicit sexual content: Pornography or sexually explicit material.
  • Violence: Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting harm.
  • Hate speech: Content promoting discrimination or hatred against individuals or groups.
  • Harassment: Content intended to harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
  • Fraud: Deepfakes or manipulated images intended to deceive or defraud.

Violation of this section may result in account suspension or termination, and we reserve the right to report serious violations to appropriate authorities.

6. Content Ownership & Privacy (Zero Storage Policy)

  • You retain ownership of all images you upload.
  • We do not store your images. We operate on a "DB-less" architecture. Images are processed in memory and immediately discarded after generation.
  • Processed images are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB). If you clear your cache or change devices, your gallery will be empty. This is a privacy feature by design.
  • You represent that you have the right to upload any images you submit.

7. AI Processing Disclaimer

Our AI technology attempts to restore and colorize images to the best of its ability. However:

  • Results may vary and are not guaranteed to be historically accurate.
  • AI-generated colors are interpretive and may not reflect actual original colors.
  • We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in the restored images.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Uploading prohibited content
  • Abuse of the Service or API
  • Fraudulent activity

9. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
